Florida Therapists & Online Counselors

Meet Dr. Natalia Kuzmina,
Ph.D., LMFT

Heal trauma. Be free.
Live the life you’ve dreamed of.

Do you believe that traumatic events from the past still affect your life today? If you've come to my page, you probably know why you feel exhausted, sad, and trapped in a vicious cycle of unproductive attempts to escape from the circumstances or yourself. You might not even remember a time things didn't feel this way. But one thing is for sure: you're ready for some relief. You're ready to feel free.

Trauma is not your fault.
Break free from your past.

It may seem impossible now, but you can feel better. The change can be lasting and profound. I can guide you through your healing journey and equip you with the tools to process those painful events fully. You will learn to cope with triggers ("gut punch feeling in the stomach"), sadness, worries, and self-sabotage.

My Approach

Have you been feeling down lately? Maybe life does not bring pleasure anymore, or you forgot the last time you felt mentally sound? Are you feeling sad or hopeless? Or thinking that if something were to happen to you, you would not mind? If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, and battling the symptoms of trauma or suicidal ideation symptoms, I am the right therapist.

Through EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy) and CBT techniques, I can help you learn to approach daily living from a more peaceful and joyful place. In addition, these practices will allow you to manage better the stressors of daily living, relationship problems, and significant life changes.

My goal is to help you find freedom from intrusive thoughts and emotional hardship.

Together we will plant seeds of hope, nourish your growth,
and harvest a more peaceful and joyful life.

Life gives us inevitable challenges. My goal as a therapist is to equip you with
the right skills and tools to manage whatever obstacles come your way.

After reconnecting with your authentic self, you gain clarity on what needs
to be done to achieve peace of mind, contentment, and joy.

My Guiding Principles

CONNECTION

Developing a trusting connection in the client-therapist relationship is critical to the therapy outcome. Research shows that 75 percent of successful treatments depend on a good connection between a client and a therapist. I believe exploring if there is a "click" between us is essential. Book a FREE consultation with me to make sure we a great fit.

COLLABORATION

Collaboration in therapy refers to shared and effective work between you and me. For example, suppose you imagine using a seesaw that requires mutual efforts on both ends to succeed. At the beginning of the therapeutic process, my contribution will probably be greater than 50 percent depending if you need additional guidance and support.

BALANCE

There is no "one size fits all" recipe to achieve balance. We all are different and require unique approaches. I believe that one of the most important ingredients is to know your values, priorities, and aims. If your decisions are aligned accordingly, you will naturally feel better.
